# Side Generation

> Create the side view of a product as a packshot, on-model, or lifestyle shot.

Side Generation creates the side view of your product, as a packshot, on-model, or lifestyle shot.

## What it does

Upload a product photo and Side Generation produces a dedicated side-view image, in whichever presentation you need: a plain packshot, on a model, or set in a lifestyle scene. It's built for the specific case where a side profile — not a front or three-quarter view — is the shot you're missing.

## Inputs

* **Product image** (required) — the shot you're generating a side view from. See [Product Images](/input-uploads) for prep guidance.
* **Reference image** (optional) — guides the presentation style: packshot styling, on-model context, or a lifestyle scene.
* **Model selection** (optional) — if the side view should be on-model, filter by gender, ethnicity, or body part.

## How to use it

    Add the required product photo, plus a reference image and model selection if relevant to your desired result.

    Choose 1K to check the side profile, then 2K or 4K for final output.

    Results save automatically to your Library, ready to download as JPG, PNG, or WebP.

## Tips

  <Accordion title="Quality depends on what your input shows">
    The AI refines what's already visible in your photo — it can't invent a side profile the input never showed. If your source image is strictly front-facing with no side detail visible, the generated side view will be less accurate than if some side contour is already present.

    A reference image is the fastest way to signal which presentation you want, since there's no prompt to describe it.
