# White Background

> Turn any product photo into a clean, catalog-ready white-background packshot in minutes.

White Background produces a clean, consistent packshot on pure white — the standard shot for catalogs and marketplaces.

## What it does

Upload a product photo and White Background strips the existing backdrop, replacing it with a neutral, evenly lit white surface. The product's shape, color, and detail are preserved while the background is normalized, so every item in your catalog looks like it was shot in the same studio, even if it wasn't.

## Inputs

* **Product image** (required) — the item you want isolated on white. See [Product Images](/input-uploads) for prep guidance.
* **Reference image** (optional) — not typically needed for this Template, since the output background is standardized white rather than styled.

## How to use it

## Tips

    A product photo with harsh shadows or uneven lighting will carry some of that unevenness into the final packshot. Flat, diffused lighting gives the cleanest result.
