What it does
This template zooms into the material of your product and renders it as a sharp, close-up detail shot. Instead of shooting a separate macro photo, you upload the hero image you already have and holala extracts and enhances the texture — weave, thread, grain, or stitch line — into its own standalone visual. It’s built for the detail shots that sit alongside your main product photo in a listing or lookbook.Inputs
Product image (required) A sharp, well-lit shot of the product where the material is clearly visible. See Product Images for prep guidelines.
Reference image (optional) A close-up style or lighting reference if you want the detail shot to match a specific mood or framing.
The AI enhances and magnifies the texture already present in your photo — it can’t invent a weave or grain the input doesn’t show. A blurry or low-resolution source produces a blurry close-up.
How to use it
Open Closeup Textile Generation in Studio
From Studio, select the Closeup Textile Generation template.
Upload your hero image
Add the product photo that shows the material you want in macro detail. Optionally add a reference image for framing or lighting style.
Set resolution and variations
Choose 1K for a quick test, or 2K/4K for final output. Pick how many variations to generate — more variations and higher resolution use more credits. See Credits.
Tips
Shoot the hero image at the highest resolution you can
Shoot the hero image at the highest resolution you can
Macro detail has nowhere to hide a soft source. A crisp, high-resolution hero image gives the AI real texture to work from instead of guessing at it.
Pick a hero shot where the material fills more of the frame
Pick a hero shot where the material fills more of the frame
A tight, well-focused view of the weave, stitching, or grain gives cleaner results than a wide shot where the texture is a small part of the image.
Use even, diffuse lighting on the source photo
Use even, diffuse lighting on the source photo
Harsh shadows or glare on the original photo carry into the close-up and can hide the very detail you’re trying to showcase.
