On-Model to Flat-Lay reverse-engineers a clean flat-lay packshot from an on-model frame.

What it does

Sometimes the only photo you have of a product is on a model, but you need a clean packshot for a listing or catalog page. This template reads the on-model image and produces a flat, product-only version — no photoshoot or restyling needed.

Inputs

Required
  • Product image — an on-model photo showing the product clearly. See Product Images for what makes a usable source frame.
Optional
  • Reference image — a flat-lay style or background reference for the output.
The output can only show what the on-model photo shows. If part of the product is hidden by a pose or angle, that detail won’t appear in the flat-lay.

How to use it

1

Pick the template

Open STUDIO and select On-Model to Flat-Lay.
2

Upload the on-model photo

Add the source image, plus a reference image if you want a specific flat-lay style.
3

Choose resolution and variations

Use 1K to check the result quickly, or 2K/4K for a catalog-ready packshot. Set how many variations to generate.
4

Generate

Run the template. The flat-lay result saves to your Library, ready to download as JPG, PNG, or WebP.

Tips

Pick a source photo where the product is fully visible and not obscured by the pose, hair, or accessories — that’s what the flat-lay will be built from.
A straight-on frame gives the cleanest flat-lay proportions. Angled or side-facing shots can distort the reverse-engineered layout.
Confirm the flat-lay captures the product accurately before spending credits on 2K or 4K output.
